There will be a 20-minute window allotted for preparation and departure from our float room for each session!

  • The high salt content in the water makes you float effortlessly. The tank or pod is soundproof and lightproof, providing a quiet and dark environment to minimize external sensory input.

  • Many people can benefit from float therapy, including those seeking stress relief, pain management, enhanced creativity, meditation, and relaxation. However, pregnant individuals or people with certain medical conditions should consult a healthcare professional before floating.

  • Sensory deprivation is generally safe for most people. However, it's essential to consult a healthcare professional if you have specific medical conditions or concerns, such as open wounds or skin conditions.

  • At Kelta we offer 60, 90, and 120 minute floats.

  • To prepare for a float session, it's advisable to avoid caffeine and large meals before floating. Refrain from shaving at least 24 hours before your float. Before you enter the tank in order to remove any makeup, oils, or lotions you will shower in one of our float room showers. More information will be provided once you have booked.

  • Not a dang thing.

  • We will provide everything you need for your session.

  • While some people may be initially concerned about feeling claustrophobic in the tank or pod, most find it spacious and comfortable due to the buoyancy of the water and the ability to open the pod lid.

  • Many pregnant individuals find floatation therapy beneficial for relieving the discomfort associated with pregnancy. However, it's essential to consult with a healthcare provider before floating during pregnancy.

  • If you have colored your hair recently please do not float. Hair color needs to be “set” before coming in to float (your shower water is running completely clear).

    If you have recently used any tanning products, spray tan or tanning lotions.

    If you are menstruating. Females experiencing their menstrual cycle the day of their float MUST reschedule their appointments—thank you!

    Those under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to float.
