To prepare for a float session, it's advisable to avoid caffeine and large meals before floating. Refrain from shaving at least 24 hours before your float. Before you enter the tank in order to remove any makeup, oils, or lotions you will shower in one of our float room showers. More information will be provided once you have booked.

While some people may be initially concerned about feeling claustrophobic in the tank or pod, most find it spacious and comfortable due to the buoyancy of the water and the ability to open the pod lid.

If you have recently colored your hair, please do not float. Hair color needs to be fully “set” before floating, meaning your shower water must run completely clear.
If you have recently used any tanning products, such as spray tans or tanning lotions, avoid floating until the product is completely washed off.
If you are menstruating, please reschedule your appointment. Floating during your menstrual cycle is not permitted.
If you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you are not permitted to float.
If you have open wounds or skin conditions, such as severe cuts, abrasions, or sensitive conditions like eczema or psoriasis.
If you are experiencing a contagious illness or skin infections.
If you have severe claustrophobia, floating may not be a comfortable experience.
If you have uncontrolled epilepsy, consult your doctor before floating.
If you have had recent surgery, wait until you are fully healed and cleared by a doctor.
If you have severe mental health conditions, such as untreated PTSD or psychosis, consult a professional before floating.
